The SoundBrick® Model 550N is a solid-state digital audio recording and playback device designed to provide a continuous-play audio source for telephone message-on-hold (MOH) plus a night answer feature. With the night feature activated, the 550N answers incoming calls, plays a separate night message, then disconnects the call. Both the MOH and night messages load into the SoundBrick’s digital memory either automatically from your pre-recorded cassette tape, or over the phone by dialing into the unit with a standard touch-tone phone. In either case your messages are retained in flash memory even when the unit is turned off or power is lost. When power is restored the SoundBrick returns to normal service immediately without the need to reload messages.
